What is Compressed Air Data Logging?
To accurately assess the performance of your compressed air system, we use state-of-the-art data logging equipment to monitor key operating conditions.
Our engineers strategically install data loggers throughout your compressed air system to measure important variables such as:
- Energy consumption
- Air demand and flow rates
- Leakage levels
- System pressure and pressure drops
- Dew point and moisture levels
- Operating temperatures
The data loggers collect live system data over a short monitoring period while your operations continue as normal. This process is completely non-intrusive and does not interrupt production.
Once the monitoring period is complete, our engineers analyse the collected data to gain a clear understanding of how your system is performing. This information allows us to identify inefficiencies across both the supply side (compressors and equipment) and the demand side (usage throughout the facility).
Based on this analysis, we produce a detailed report outlining recommended improvements and potential energy savings for your compressed air system.
How Our Energy Audit Process Works
Our compressed air energy audit process is designed to be simple, effective and easy to implement.
Investigation
Using advanced data logging equipment, we measure the key performance indicators of your compressed air system, including energy consumption, air demand, leakage levels and pressure stability.
Data Analysis
Once the data logging period is complete, our engineers carefully analyse the results to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement. This analysis is typically completed within a week of retrieving the data loggers.
Energy Audit Report
We then provide a comprehensive energy audit report detailing our findings, along with clear recommendations and an action plan to improve the efficiency and performance of your compressed air system.
